This Is Not a Government Office. Pennsylvania Court Records is a private reference site. We cannot retrieve official documents, file paperwork, or issue certified copies. Those services must come from the Pennsylvania court, county office, or state agency that holds the record.
Need an Official Document?
Pennsylvania has no single statewide clerk for all records. Use these official county and Commonwealth routes:
- Court case files: open the county directory to reach the filing county's Prothonotary, Clerk of Courts, Register of Wills, or minor court
- Marriage, divorce, and probate: use the issuing or decree county for marriage and divorce records and the domicile county for estate records
- State criminal history: request a Pennsylvania record through the official Pennsylvania State Police PATCH portal; certified court dispositions still come from the county
- County and state custody: search the local facility through Pennsylvania inmate records or use the Department of Corrections Inmate/Parolee Locator for state custody
- Warrants: use Pennsylvania warrant records to identify the issuing court, sheriff, probation office, or Domestic Relations office
- Registered offenders: use the official Pennsylvania Megan's Law registry for public registration information
- County contacts: select one of all 67 counties in the Pennsylvania county directory for locally verified court and records-office details
